In 2017 the University of Portsmouth wanted to refresh its brand to reflect the ambition of an evolving organisation. They wanted to be seen as a forward-looking, credible and dynamic university.
We were asked to simplify and modernise their crest. Allowing it to sit alongside the refreshed brand.
The Royal College of Arms granted us the use of the Royal supporters (a lion and a unicorn). We used of the maritime version of these supporters, a sea lion and a sea unicorn.
